You start with just a ticket office and a bit of cash. Transform an empty mountain into a Legendary Resort in this management tycoon game from an industry veteran and passionate skier.

Early Access is a full, playable resort sim: build trails, place lifts and more than 60 different buildings, and run a complete economy while thousands of simulated guests ski your mountain under a living snow-and-weather system. Five biomes are playable, each with multiple maps ranging from small local hills to large destination resorts. Early Access is planned to run roughly 12–18 months, adding mountains around the world, new buildings and lifts, scenarios, and systems shaped with the community.

The full title is Ski-E-O! Ski Resort Tycoon. “Ski-E-O!” on its own is fine on second reference and in headlines.

• Design Your Perfect Mountain. No rigid grid system. Paint trails directly onto terrain built from real LiDAR data from around the world. You need a variety of trails for all types of skiers; green circles for beginners, black diamonds for the brave. Build cozy ski villages with lodges, restaurants, après bars, shopping and more.
• Keep Your Guests Happy. Thousands of guests hit the slopes, each with unique needs and a personality. Powderhounds chase the freshest snow, wherever it falls. Ski Bunnies chill at the warm lodges and après bars. Watch a Jerry wipe out on an expert trail he had no business entering — and make sure you have enough Ski Patrol hired to help him out after you’re done laughing.
• Not Everyone Came To Ski. Place buildings that satisfy a variety of guests, from waffle stands to spas, warming huts to five-star hotels — more than 60 buildings in all.
• No Two Winters Are The Same. Snow falls, settles, melts, and drifts on a GPU-simulated snowpack, and skiers carve real grooves into the powder as they go. An El Niño year turns the storms warm and wet. Drought means running snowblowers around the clock just to stay open. A big dump buries your buildings before the lifts even spin. A cool summer keeps your peaks soft and fluffy for the next season.
• Real Mountains, Real Weather. Every peak is built from real-world elevation data: the actual ridgelines, fall lines, and the weather that comes with them. All five US regions are playable at launch, each with its own character: the icy East leans on snowmaking, Utah serves up light, forgiving powder, the Sierras swing between burying blizzards and dry spells, the Colorado Rockies pair dependable snow with brutal cold, and the Pacific Northwest never stops dumping deep, heavy snow. Japan, the Alps, the Andes, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and China are planned during Early Access.
• Play It On The Couch. Fully playable with a controller, and fully playable on Steam Deck. The game spots the hardware and sets its own preset, so it's ready to play the moment it opens.
• Become Legendary. Every guest has feedback. A well-groomed run, a warm lodge after a long day, a season that actually delivers snow. It all feeds your reputation. Grow from a one-star local hill to a five-star Legendary Resort, one satisfied skier at a time.

Falling Damage Games is an independent studio built by a previous Armature Studio and Meta alum, Jesse Zigthor. With over 17 years of experience in gaming, Jesse has long dreamed of starting his own studio and building games that delight players. After Armature was shut down in January 2026 by Meta, Jesse took the opportunity to pursue that dream with his first title, Ski-E-O!.

Learning to ski in his late 20’s, this game is an ode to the mountains that shaped him and grew his love for skiing. Between the yard sales, the constant falling, and pushing himself to become a better skier, Falling Damage Games is a reminder to never give up on your goals and what makes you happy.
